"This question from God kept me awake all night "

"Not long ago, I spent an entire night in prayer—because of this question from God that kept me awake all night. He asked me, “Are you fulfilling Biblical prophecy?” In Zechariah 8:3, the prophet declares, “Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.”
The Psalmist declares in Psalm 132:4, “I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.” That is fulfilling Biblical prophecy. Second Samuel 7:10 declares, “Moreover, I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more...” That is fulfilling Biblical prophecy.

What you and I are doing together through the Jerusalem Prayer Team is fulfilling Biblical prophecy and preparing for the Lord's coming. Psalm 102:16 says, “When the LORD shall build up Zion, He shall appear in His glory.” You are also fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 62:1-7:
For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. The nations will see your vindication, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will bestow. You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord's hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God. No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the Lord will take delight in you, and your land will be married. As a young man marries a young woman, so will your Builder marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you. I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till He establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.
You are fulfilling the prophecy that declares, “...for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem,” (Isaiah 2:3b). You are standing with the Jewish people, God's Chosen Ones, for as the prophet said in Zechariah 2:8, “...for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple (pupil) of His eye.” You are fulfilling Isaiah 49:22, “See, I will beckon to the Gentiles, I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders.”

When tens of thousands of Jewish people will go through the Jerusalem World Center to visit the Righteous Gentiles Heritage Center and hear the story of Christian love for the first time ever, you will be fulfilling prophecy. They will call you “blessed.” Thank you for fulfilling prophecy.

The nation of Israel urgently needs our help, support, encouragement, and prayers right now. This is a prophetic crisis, foretold in the pages of Scripture. We are watching it happen before our eyes. Today I am asking you to join me in urgent prayer. As God leads, perhaps you would fast for one meal or one day as we pray together for His blessing and protection on His Chosen People.

And I urgently need your financial help as well. The work of the Jerusalem Prayer Team is vital, but we cannot continue without your support. This effort is completely supported by our members—friends like you who share our belief in the power of prayer and our love for Israel and the Jewish people.
This week Jewish people around the world are celebrating Passover. This is a holy and sacred time of year. The week-long Feast of Unleavened Bread is a celebration of God’s deliverance and protection for His people, but for the poor and hungry, especially for the elderly Holocaust survivors, it is anything but a happy time.

Today I’m asking you to help us provide food for the Seder and the week of Passover for these precious people. I have been in Jerusalem to represent you as we share the message of hope and Christian love with them. Your gift today will provide meals for the hungry—meeting one of their most urgent needs. We will continue to distribute food and help throughout this festive week. Please send your gift today to bless the Holocaust survivors of Jerusalem and the poor of the house of Israel.
With your gift of $40 or more, we will send you this beautiful set of coasters. Made especially for members of the Jerusalem Prayer Team, these blue and white coasters show the Star of David and the word “peace.” Every time you use them, you will be reminded to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
When you send your gift of $100 or more, we will send you the coasters and a copy of the photo from Auschwitz that I received in Israel last week. This incredible picture will be a constant reminder to you to continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the protection of Israel, as well as a great way to share the need for our prayers with everyone who sees it. I treasure this picture greatly, and I know you will treasure yours as well.
Your support of the Jerusalem Prayer Team allows us to continue our work on the Christian Zionist Heritage Center, to stand up and speak out for Israel, and to meet urgent humanitarian needs among the poor Jewish people living in Israel. Thank you so much for being part of this vital worldwide prayer movement.

Barukh atah Adonai eloheinu melekh ha-olam, ozier Yisrael bigvurah.Blessed art thou, Lord our God, King of the universe, who girds Israel with might.
Your ambassador to Jerusalem,
Dr. Mike Evans"
