"God’s plan for your victory today!"

"Second Corinthians 10:4-5 says, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” These verses contain three powerful instructions for winning spiritual warfare: pulling down, casting down, and bringing into captivity.
God knows that you are in a battle, and His plan is for you to win! A stronghold is a fortress created in your spirit that cannot be penetrated by physical weapons. God wants those fortresses brought down so that His Spirit can work in power. Strongholds begin with thoughts and imaginations. The progression described is that our thoughts left unchecked grow into imaginations which turn into strongholds in our lives.

Rather than allowing our spirits to be ruled by what we see and think, we should be ruled by the Word of God. When we speak the Word, we are thinking the Word. If you think thoughts that are from God, they create strong fortresses as they renew our mind and build our spirit. Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” We renew our minds with constant input from the Scriptures.

Your brain weighs approximately three pounds and has more than 12,000,000,000 individual cells. There are well over one hundred trillion connections between your brain cells that allow you to think, reason, and function. Like a computer, the output of your brain is determined by what you program into it. Is your mind filled with the thinking of the world, or with the thinking of God? A Christian who is walking in the power of the Holy Spirit and thinking with a renewed mind is a great danger to the kingdom of Satan.

The nation of Israel urgently needs our help, support, encouragement, and prayers right now. This is a prophetic crisis, foretold in the pages of Scripture. We are watching it happen before our eyes. Today I am asking you to join me in urgent prayer. As God leads, perhaps you would fast for one meal or one day as we pray together for His blessing and protection on His Chosen People.

And I urgently need your financial help as well. The work of the Jerusalem Prayer Team is vital, but we cannot continue without your support. This effort is completely supported by our members—friends like you who share our belief in the power of prayer and our love for Israel and the Jewish people.

message from Dr. Mike Evans

This week Jewish people around the world are celebrating Passover. This is a holy and sacred time of year. The week-long Feast of Unleavened Bread is a celebration of God’s deliverance and protection for His people, but for the poor and hungry, especially for the elderly Holocaust survivors, it is anything but a happy time.

Today I’m asking you to help us provide food for the entire week of Passover for these precious people. I have been in Jerusalem to represent you as we share the message of hope and Christian love with them. Your gift today will provide meals for the hungry—meeting one of their most urgent needs. We will continue to distribute food and help throughout this festive week. Please send your gift today to bless the Holocaust survivors of Jerusalem and the poor of the house of Israel.
With your gift of $40 or more, we will send you this beautiful set of coasters. Made especially for members of the Jerusalem Prayer Team, these blue and white coasters show the Star of David and the word “peace.” Every time you use them, you will be reminded to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

When you send your gift of $100 or more, we will send you the coasters and a copy of the photo from Auschwitz that I received in Israel last week. This incredible picture will be a constant reminder to you to continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the protection of Israel, as well as a great way to share the need for our prayers with everyone who sees it. I treasure this picture greatly, and I know you will treasure yours as well.
Your support of the Jerusalem Prayer Team allows us to continue our work on the Christian Zionist Heritage Center, to stand up and speak out for Israel, and to meet urgent humanitarian needs among the poor Jewish people living in Israel. Thank you so much for being part of this vital worldwide prayer movement.

As I prayed on Mount Calvary last week, God put this verse in my heart for you

"As I was praying for you on the very top of Mount Calvary just a few days ago, the words of Jesus leaped in my spirit: “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). I was forsaken and abused by my own father, so these words mean so very much to me, and I felt led to share them with you today. No matter what you have experienced, the love of God will never fail you.
As we prepare to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord, I wanted you to hear these beautiful words—and remember that He has promised not only to come back for us, but to reward those who serve Him faithfully. Thank you so much for being part of the Jerusalem Prayer Team and helping us as we stand with and for the nation of Israel and the Jewish people.

Our work to defend Israel and the Jewish people through prayer is so vital right now. I spent last week in Israel as your ambassador to encourage a nation in crisis. I ask that you join me in prayer for the peace of Jerusalem, and I ask that you stand with us financially right now. We will be caring for the poor of Israel, especially the elderly Holocaust survivors, all through the Passover week from your home in the Holy City, the Jerusalem World Center, and we must continue this great prayer movement on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people.

"God told to share this verse of Scripture with you for this day""

"As I was praying for you this morning, the Lord spoke to me to encourage you and gave me this Scripture for you. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7). I know this promise is true!
Years ago on Thanksgiving Day (which was also my 25th wedding anniversary), I was told that a terrorist was coming to kill me. My entire evangelistic team in the hotel was moved two floors down so they would be spared.

On my 40th birthday, I was told that a Jew-hating terrorist who had already killed two people, including a state trooper, had been arrested…with my name and address and a loaded gun on the front seat of his car.

In 1983 I preached to the Marines in Beirut, Lebanon, and gave them Bibles. A few hours later, a Hezbollah terrorist killed almost 250 of them. I was told I would never get out of Lebanon alive, but an angel of God delivered me.

I know what it is like to let the God of peace guard my heart and mind!

Please say this prayer with me out loud right now—the prayer I said in those crisis times: “God is greater than I think. God is closer than I think. God is more committed than I think. God is more ambitious than I think.”

In the Mighty Name of Jesus get up! Don't sit in the dust of your difficulties. Focus today on what you have left, not what you have lost... YOU can do ALL things though Christ who strengthens you!

When God told me to step out by faith and sign the contract for the Jerusalem World Center last year, every demon in hell screamed that the money would not come in. I shouted back at the Devil and said, “Go to Hell! I am doing a Great work for God, and my God shall supply ALL of my needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus.” I say that same thing concerning you today, rebuking Satan in the name of Jesus. (P.S.—NO, it is not cursing to tell the Devil to go to Hell!) The need was met, and the purchase was made. Now we are moving forward with work on the Righteous Gentiles Heritage Center in this wonderful building, and I urgently need your help again.

"This question from God kept me awake all night "

 Update by Mike Evans,

"Not long ago, I spent an entire night in prayer—because of this question from God that kept me awake all night. He asked me, “Are you fulfilling Biblical prophecy?” In Zechariah 8:3, the prophet declares, “Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.”
The Psalmist declares in Psalm 132:4, “I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.” That is fulfilling Biblical prophecy. Second Samuel 7:10 declares, “Moreover, I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more...” That is fulfilling Biblical prophecy.

What you and I are doing together through the Jerusalem Prayer Team is fulfilling Biblical prophecy and preparing for the Lord's coming. Psalm 102:16 says, “When the LORD shall build up Zion, He shall appear in His glory.” You are also fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 62:1-7:
For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. The nations will see your vindication, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will bestow. You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord's hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God. No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the Lord will take delight in you, and your land will be married. As a young man marries a young woman, so will your Builder marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you. I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till He establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.
You are fulfilling the prophecy that declares, “...for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem,” (Isaiah 2:3b). You are standing with the Jewish people, God's Chosen Ones, for as the prophet said in Zechariah 2:8, “...for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple (pupil) of His eye.” You are fulfilling Isaiah 49:22, “See, I will beckon to the Gentiles, I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders.”

When tens of thousands of Jewish people will go through the Jerusalem World Center to visit the Righteous Gentiles Heritage Center and hear the story of Christian love for the first time ever, you will be fulfilling prophecy. They will call you “blessed.” Thank you for fulfilling prophecy.

Another visit to Jerusalem- update

"Shalom from Jerusalem! It is Shabbat and I am at the Jerusalem World Center interceding in prayer and meeting with teams of Israelis working on our projects here.
From Revelation 22:20-21, the Lord declares, “He who testifies these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming quickly.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”

My heart leaped for joy as I read this Scripture this morning. What you are doing through your prayers and giving as a Jerusalem Prayer Team member is preparing the way of the Lord: “For the Lord shall build up Zion, then shall He appear in His glory.”

I am here in Israel as your ambassador to bring comfort to a nation besieged by enemies and abandoned by friends. I will stand against those who seek to divide Jerusalem and curse Israel. The work of the Jerusalem Prayer Team is vital, but we cannot continue without your support. This effort is completely supported by our members—friends like you who share our belief in the power of prayer and our love for Israel and the Jewish people.

Also during this trip, I will be holding critical meetings for the future of the Christian Zionist Heritage Center. We are working very hard to make this a powerful and life-changing experience for everyone who comes. Please pray that God will give us wisdom and guidance through this process. We are also working on several other exciting new outreaches that I look forward to sharing with you very soon.

The Spirit of God has directed me to set aside time for prayer in the Holy City for your greatest needs. I encourage you to share those with me today so that I can join you in the prayer of faith for God to work in your life in a miraculous way, and I ask that you stand with us financially today. We are planning a big Passover celebration for Holocaust survivors in your home in the Holy City, the Jerusalem World Center, and we must continue this great prayer movement on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people.
PLEASE SHARE YOUR GREATEST PRAYER NEED WITH ME

In just a few days, the celebration of Passover begins. This is a holy and sacred time of year. In faith, I have told the director of our outreach to go ahead and plan for a Passover party and a major food distribution, but we can’t do this unless you help. Please send your gift today to bless the Holocaust survivors of Jerusalem and the poor of the house of Israel.
When you send your gift today, we will send you this beautiful Jerusalem peace print. Since the City of David is the focal point of the enemy’s attack, it must be the focal point of our prayers as well. Suitable for framing, this lovely picture will be a constant reminder to you to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
If you are able to send a gift of $77 or more, we will send you the print and an amazing resource—the Rose Book of Maps, Charts & Timelines. This is a Bible study tool that has something for everyone. It will give you a new level of insight into the times, customs, and places of the people of the Word and a new level of knowledge concerning what is coming next.

"Have a breakthrough, not a breakdown! "

"This morning I read Revelation 11:5: “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”
Hallelujah! Meditate on that and you will have a breakthrough—not a breakdown. By the way, I have four steps for you to take that will help you have that breakthrough.
S—Settle in your mind that Jesus reigns as King
T—Trust God's Word completely
E—Encourage yourself in the Lord
P—Put Jesus first
Many Christians try to make Jesus King. He is already King. You cannot crown Him King. He has already been crowned. You cannot make Him Lord. He is already Lord. He is greater than you think, closer than you think, more committed than you think and more ambitious than you think.

Today I am asking you to do something that will exalt the King of Kings in the eyes of the world and show His love to the Jewish people. I am going to Israel today as your Ambassador to bring comfort to a nation besieged by enemies and abandoned by friends. I will stand against those who seek to divide Jerusalem and curse Israel. Christiam ministry in Jerusalem- update March 2013

Jerusalem Prayer Team

"Today, God drew me to Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things we hope for, being the proof of things we do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].” John 16:33 declares, “In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]” (Amplified Bible)
There is no battle that you and I can win in the physical realm until we have won it through faith in the spirit realm. To fight and win that battle, you and I have over 6,000 promises from God's Word that are “yes and amen in Christ Jesus.” The Jerusalem Prayer Team is fighting the battle for Israel’s survival in this most crucial arena—the spiritual battlefield. When you give to support this work, you are part of blessing what God wants blessed…and you are placing yourself in position for the kind of blessing God described through the prophet Isaiah:
This is the kind of fast day I'm after: to break the chains of injustice, get rid of exploitation in the workplace, free the oppressed, cancel debts. What I'm interested in seeing you do is: sharing your food with the hungry, inviting the homeless poor into your homes, putting clothes on the shivering ill-clad, being available to your own families. Do this and the lights will turn on, and your lives will turn around at once.

Your righteousness will pave your way. The God of glory will secure your passage. Then when you pray, God will answer. You'll call out for help and I'll say, “Here I am.” If you get rid of unfair practices, quit blaming victims, quit gossiping about other people's sins, If you are generous with the hungry and start giving yourselves to the down-and-out, Your lives will begin to glow in the darkness, your shadowed lives will be bathed in sunlight. I will always show you where to go. I'll give you a full life in the emptiest of places—firm muscles, strong bones. You'll be like a well-watered garden, a gurgling spring that never runs dry. (Isaiah 58:6-10, The Message)
Today I am asking you to help us fight and win the most important spiritual battle of our generation. Jerusalem is Ground Zero for spiritual warfare in our world today. It is vital that you and I do our part to not only pray for the peace of Jerusalem, but to speak out in support of Israel's right to her capital city. Every nation that curses Israel will fall under the judging hand of Almighty God. When you have prayed, please send your best gift today so that we can do even more to support, defend and encourage Israel and the Jewish people.

In addition to helping us rally Believers to support Israel, your help will enable us to bring the Christian Zionist Heritage Center to life. We must tell the story of Corrie ten Boom and her family—and so many other wonderful stories of love, sacrifice, courage, support, and devotion—to the nation of Israel. Most Jewish people have never seen an act of kindness from a Christian. Most of them think, as my Jewish mother did, that Christians are the source of hatred, persecution and even death.

You and I know that this is not true, but they will not hear unless we tell them. Your gift today to support the Jerusalem Prayer Team will help us make the Christian Zionist Heritage Center a reality—and touch the future of the entire nation by changing the way they view Christians and showing them God’s love in action. We cannot do this without you. Please be as generous as you can when you send your gift today.
When you send your gift of any amount today, we will send you a DVD of the virtual tour of the ten Boom home and clock shop in Haarlem, Holland.
You will be able to see and hear the story of the “Hiding Place” in a powerful new way. With your gift of $50 or more, we will also add your name or the name of someone special you wish to honor or remember to the special ten Boom Book of Honor in the Christian Zionist Heritage Center.
If you are able to send a gift of $100 or more, we will send you the DVD and this special double-sided commemorative Jerusalem Prayer Team clock. Prepared especially for our friends and supporters, this beautiful timepiece harkens back to the ten Boom’s heritage as clockmakers and links you to our continuing of their work on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people.
