Jerusalem Prayer Team
"Today, God drew me to Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things we hope for, being the proof of things we do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].” John 16:33 declares, “In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]” (Amplified Bible)
There is no battle that you and I can win in the physical realm until we have won it through faith in the spirit realm. To fight and win that battle, you and I have over 6,000 promises from God's Word that are “yes and amen in Christ Jesus.” The Jerusalem Prayer Team is fighting the battle for Israel’s survival in this most crucial arena—the spiritual battlefield. This is the kind of fast day I'm after: to break the chains of injustice, get rid of exploitation in the workplace, free the oppressed, cancel debts. You'll call out for help and I'll say, “Here I am.” If you get rid of unfair practices, quit blaming victims, quit gossiping about other people's sins, If you are generous with the hungry and start giving yourselves to the down-and-out, Your lives will begin to glow in the darkness, your shadowed lives will be bathed in sunlight. I will always show you where to go. I'll give you a full life in the emptiest of places—firm muscles, strong bones. You'll be like a well-watered garden, a gurgling spring that never runs dry. (Isaiah 58:6-10, The Message)
Today I am asking you to help us fight and win the most important spiritual battle of our generation. Jerusalem is Ground Zero for spiritual warfare in our world today. It is vital that you and I do our part to not only pray for the peace of Jerusalem, but to speak out in support of Israel's right to her capital city. Why all the rage over Jerusalem?

“How often it is a small, almost unconscious event that makes a turning point.” – Corrie ten Boom
"No other city on earth sparks the controversy that Jerusalem does. The fate of the Holy City is discussed, debated, and fought over more than any other. President Obama is pushing a plan to divide Jerusalem and hand much of it—including the holiest places of Christianity—to the Palestinians as the capital of a new state.
The question arises, “Why the rage over Jerusalem?” The answer can only be found in the Word of God. This is a spiritual battle. Satan declared in Isaiah 14:13-14 that he would wage warfare against God Almighty not only from Jerusalem, but from the Temple site. He declared, “I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”
Jerusalem is the only city which God claims as His own; for that reason it is called the “City of God.” He declares in II Chronicles 33:7, “In this temple and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put My Name forever.” David, the psalmist, wrote in Psalm 102:16, “For the Lord will rebuild Zion and appear in His glory.”
In Isaiah 62:1, the prophet cries out, “For Zion's sake I will not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns.” Isaiah added another amazing prophecy in chapter 2, verse 3: “For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”
I am praying that God will give us 800 Jerusalem Prayer Team members in the next two days to stand with us in honor of the 800 Jewish people that the ten Booms saved from the Holocaust. Your generous gift today will take the story of Corrie ten Boom and her family—and the stories of hundreds of other loving Christians who helped and supported Israel and the Jewish people—to Jerusalem and the nation of Israel through the Christian Zionist Heritage Center.
However, we now must make the first payment to Disk-In Pro on their work as required by the contract. We have received the invoice for $450,000. I am writing today to ask you to be one of those 800 with your gift to help us make the payment so that the work on the Christian Zionist Heritage Center can continue. So far 625 loving hearts have responded to this need by giving $53,535.
